Beginners' Course 2008

Seiseki Young Dance Circle is holding a Beginners' Course! If you're interested in trying out ballroom dancing, or if you've tried it just a bit before, why not try SYDC's Beginners' Course? Now is the best chance to join! ◆When: Every Wednesday from Oct. 1 to Nov. 5, 8:20pm - 9:30pm (total of 6 lessons)

August 5 - Small celebration party! ※Feel free to join us during any of the five weeks.

◆Time Schedule:

20:00-20:20 Change clothes, stretch, etc.

20:20-20:40 Beginners' lesson part 1, taught by SYDC members

20:40-21:00 Beginners' lesson part 2, taught by SYDC members

21:00-21:30 Regular SYDC lesson, taught by professional dance teachers

21:30-21:55 Free dance time

◆Price: First time is free, 1000 yen/lesson from the second time. Or, pay bulk price for discount: 3000 yen/5 lessons

◆Eligibility: Under 35 years of age as of Oct 1.

◆Where: MyDance School

S.I Building 7F, 1-minute walk from East Exit of Seisekisakuragaoka Station, Keio Line ◆Dress code: Anything easy to move in. (Sneakers not allowed. Leather-soled shoes are better to dance in than rubber-soled shoes.)

◆Dances taught: waltz, rumba, tango, chacha, blues, jitterbug

◆Goals:

(1) Discover the fun of ballroom dance!

(2) Learn the basic steps of six dances to use at any dance party.

(3) Build a foundation for a smooth transition into the regular SYDC dance lessons.

(4) Make more dance friends!
