Beginners' Course 2007

Last year's Beginners' Course was so successful, we've decided to do it again this year! Have you always wanted to start dance, but were too nervous to suddenly join a dance circle? Did you watch the movie Shall We Dance and think I want to start dancing too? Do you just want to start something new? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, join our beginners' course! When: July 4 - August 22 (total of 8 lessons)

Schedule: Every Wednesday, 20:10-21:00 Who: Anyone under age 35, up to 15 people Dances: Blues, Jitterbug, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Chacha Fee: 5000 yen Dress code: Anything easy to move in. Jeans, tight skirts, and other tight clothes not recommended. An extra T-shirt or change of clothes in case of sweat suggested. Shoes: Men: Dress shoes are better than sneakers. Women: Avoid sandals, backless shoes, and heels taller than 2 in. After the Beginners' Course, regular SYDC lessons taught by professional dance teachers will be held (21:00-21:45). If you can, please join us for those lessons, too!
